5 Skincare Mistakes That Almost Everyone Makes…

Hello Beauties!
We can’t all be perfect when it comes to skincare. But there are some do’s and don’ts that we should all be aware of. Are you guilty of any of these…?
Clean Your Phone
Like most people, we can be constantly attached to our phone. However your phone can be the cause of a blemish disaster, even if you wash your hands 100’s of times a day. A phone screen houses tonnes of bacteria, which comes into direct content with your face. Try to wipe your phone every day with a disinfecting wipe; your skin will thank you!
Don’t Sleep in Your Makeup
Forgetting to take your makeup off at night will block up your pores, which causes dull-looking skin, and can lead to breakouts. It’s easily avoidable! For best results, following a skincare routine that removes all traces of dirt and makeup will really benefit your skin.
Moisturising Isn’t Just For Night Time
Moisturising in the morning before makeup application has huge skin benefits, this includes improving your skin’s elasticity, which helps fight wrinkles! It also allows makeup to apply much smoother (just make sure it settles into your skin first).
Never Exfoliating, Or Exfoliating Too Much
Your skin is constantly producing cells, so when your dead skin cells are left on your face, it can lead to a dull looking complexion. Exfoliating gets rid of your dead skin cells and allows for a fresh, healthy looking face. However, exfoliating too often can lead to irritated and dry skin. According to experts, exfoliating 2 or 3 times a week for normal or combination skin, and once a week for sensitive skin is the perfect amount.
Stop Touching Your Face
We’re all guilty of subconsciously touching our face. But did you know our hands come into contact with millions of germs every day? Touching your face can trigger breakouts! Not something we need.
